1. ALL competitors must be in possession of an all-events convention registration in order to be eligible to compete. This applies to each quartet member. We will be checking convention registrations so please have your registration on your person when you enter the backstage area. Registrations can be purchased on-line through the MAD website.
2. Pre-contest stage time for Friday quartets will be the usual 3 minutes per quartet from 2:00 - 3:30 PM based on order of arrival. A sign-up sheet will be available by the stage area. Stage tests will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once it appears that there are no more quartets interested in testing the stage and those on the sign-up list have completed their stage tests, the pre-contest stage time will end. 3. If your quartet is interested in an evaluation session Friday following the Semi-Finals contest session or on Saturday night for the Finalists, please schedule that evaluation and pay your $20 deposit PRIOR TO the beginning of your contest session. It would be helpful if you submitted your $20 refundable cash deposit for the evaluation when you test the stage. Please note that the $20 is refunded after you complete your evaluation sessions. If you don't specifically ask to be scheduled for an evaluation session with the judges and pay your $20 deposit, you WILL NOT be included in the evaluation schedule. 4. Check the 'grid' for the latest, most up-to-date competitor schedule. 5. You may purchase your Quartet Video & Audio Media for $25.00 via the MAD website (BuyMEDIA). CD's will be available for pick up immediately after the contest session. High-def Video will be available on-line (MyMEDIA) to the competitors only, within a week after the contest for those who have purchased them. Remember, you must logon to download your video. |
