Neil, at age 85, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2018. Born on December 11, 1932 in Pottsville, PA, he was the son of the late George and Louise (Adams) Keihm.
He was an avid singer, usually the lead, in Barbershop. He attended division district and international competitions. Neil was a lover of all things eagles; he collected many items over the years including paintings, sculptures, and ornaments.
Neil is survived by his wife of over 52 years, Dorothy Keihm of West Grove, PA; daughters: Jane Louise Hooker of Maryland, and Sheryl Lynch of Hawaii; son, Eric Keihm of Utah; nephews: Scott Coombs and his wife, Linda, of Rhode Island, and Richard Coombs and his wife, Alison, of Connecticut; niece, Sandi Zielinski and her husband, Stephen, of Connecticut; and several grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Neil's life was held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church of Newark, 292 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to First Presbyterian Church of Newark and sent in care of R.T. Foard and Jones, Inc., 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711.
