Clyde Robert 'Bob' Austin, a long time Alexandria Harmonizer (1978-1994) and member of the Chorus of the Chesapeake, passed away on April 23, 2017 at age 72. Bob and his loving wife of 38 years, Bonnie Lou Austin, lived in Laurel, MD before recently making the move to retire in Millsboro DE.

Bob's Celebration of Life memorial service was held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at St. Phillips Episcopal Church, 522 Main St., Laurel MD 20707.

Bob was an awesome baritone and sang competitively with many quartets (see below) including the original formation of Copyright '86. A baritone section leader (1983), he was a member of the Alexandria Harmonizers International Gold Medal Choruses of 1986 and 1989.
