Want to sing?
There are several ways to participate!
The easiest is to find a local singing community, called a "chapter" in the
Barbershop Harmony Society. A chorus can help you join or form a quartet. If
there isn't a chapter in your area, you can start a club with some like-minded
folks or even become a full-fledged chapter (with all sorts of extra benefits).
We can help with all of these!
Find a Chapter
The fundamental structure of the Barbershop Harmony Society is a chapter.
Inside a chapter can be any number of choruses:
- Low voices / Men's
- High voices / Women's
- All voices / Mixed
- Youth
To find a chapter near you, see our chapter map!
Do Your Own Thing
No chapter in your area? No problem! You can form your own quartet with three
other like-minded people. Start a quartet!
Become a Member
Even if you don't have a singing group now, you can still join the Mid-Atlantic
District (part of the Barbershop Harmony Society), which entitles you to all
sorts of member benefits, including online Society discounts.
